Dye Intermediates: Applied in the manufacture of Tobias acid, 2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid and other dye intermediates, as well as organic pigments.
Antioxidant Raw Materials:
Used for the synthesis of rubber antioxidants including Antioxidant D and DNP.
Research & Testing:
Analytical Reagent: Applied in the detection of bromine, chlorine, copper, nitrite and other ions, and for the fluorometric assay of phenolsulfotransferase.
Indicator:
Suitable for use as an acid-base indicator and fluorescent indicator.
Other Applications:
Used as a synthetic raw material for plant growth regulator 2-naphthyloxyacetic acid; also applied as pharmaceutical intermediate and raw material for agricultural fungicides.
