A new type of water purification material, known as an inorganic polymer coagulant and commonly abbreviated as polyaluminum or PAC (Polyaluminum Chloride), is a water-soluble inorganic polymer with a chemical composition intermediate between AlCl₃ and Al(OH)₃. Its general chemical formula is expressed as [Al₂(OH)ₙCl₆₋ₙ]ₘ, where m represents the degree of polymerization and n denotes the basicity (or degree of neutralization) of the PAC product.
In a typical product, when n ranges from 1 to 5, the substance forms a high-charge polymeric ring-chain structure based on the Keggin configuration. This structure exhibits strong charge-neutralization and bridging capabilities toward colloids and particles in water, enabling the effective removal of low-toxicity substances and heavy metal ions while maintaining stable performance.
The quality inspection of PAC can be conducted in accordance with the Chinese National Standard GB 15892-2003.
Owing to the bridging action of hydroxyl groups and the polymerization effect facilitated by polyvalent anions, the resulting polyaluminum chloride is an inorganic high-molecular-weight water treatment agent characterized by a relatively large molecular mass and high cationic charge.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This product is primarily manufactured using alcohols, polyamines, or resins as initiators. Through block polymerization with propylene oxide (PO) and ethylene oxide (EO), polyethers with varying molecular weights and properties are produced. These polymer-like substances effectively separate both oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions.
With dozens of available types, our demulsifiers are suitable for the demulsification and dehydration of various crude oils. They also improve crude oil transportation conditions and exhibit good anti-wax performance.
APPLICATION SCOPE
Suitable for demulsification and dehydration of various crude oil types.
Selected formulations are applicable for low-temperature dehydration, while others are designed for refinery desalting and salt-washing processes.
Demulsifier-assisted dehydration may also be implemented in the treatment of produced fluids at oil production facilities.
